Happy New Year! And New Books

New year's resolution: double my post count from last year. Prior to this post, I'm at a mere 123,416 words written on this blog. My eventual goal is a million, it better not take me 10 years! Though to be fair that's not including everything I write at other places, but still.

Anyway, I was lucky enough to receive six books off my Amazon Wish List for Christmas! I have so much to read. Here they are:

1. Let Over Lambda
2. Kushiel's Dart
3. The Book of Five Rings
4. Land of Lisp
5. Reading in the Brain
6. The Moral Animal

Now, if you've been paying attention to this blog (which you haven't been) you'd remember that I was reading The Moral Animal sometime last year (or was it the year before? Note to self: add a google search box to the right), and I finished it, but I regretted not having more time with it and not having my own copy since I was using the library's. Now I have it, I can reread some sections and look over the very comprehensive list of citations in more detail, and I now have it to use for blog material again if needed. ;) (Oh no, an emoticon on my blog! Oh well, the tag is "personal".)

Things to look forward to: at least one more post on Anarchy, possibly a couple, a giant rant on Objectivism that I'll release in a few months probably, more useful Flex tips and maybe general programming tips, hopefully advertising posts about stuff I build, and if I'm lucky I'll get some readership this year that will leave me comments I can reply to. (Second note to self: add email notification support...)
